The exhibition Urban Hacking features the artworks of two French artists, Nasty and Gregory Berben. The artists draw inspiration from the streets and seize urban objects as a medium for their artworks. Nasty started Graffiti in 1988, in Paris. His choice of bright colours and presence in the Parisian subway has made him a reference for current generations. In his exhibitions, Nasty staged the famous enamel plates from Parisian metro which he grabs for over 15 years. He will give a live performance, creating art on a wall at the La Cantoche Restaurant. Gregory Berben is a self-taught artist who was born in Cannes in 1974. He creates his collages from peeling street board posters, transporting fragments that have been damaged by time and weather into a new life mixed with acrylic, paper, and glue to create a highly graphic universe that is almost mathematical: a new code, his own code. - NASTY LIVE PERFORMANCE 28/5/2014 7:00 PM - FREE ADMISSION FOR EXHIBITION - $300 FOR THE LIVE PERFORMANCE INCLUDING DRINKS AND BUFFET (40 PLACES AVAILABLE) - TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE FROM AVENUE DES ARTS FOR THE LIVE PERFORMANCE EVENING ON LIST
