In Lumenvisum 5th anniversary, we would like to observe our past exhibitions, attempting to methodically draw a conclusion of present conditions of photography in Hong Kong. “13 Terminal Tiles” featuring thirteen contemporary photographers in Hong Kong, they are Alfred Ko, Tam Wai Ping, Ula Tsui, Tse Pak Chai, Leong Ka Tai, Gavin Au, Joan Leung, John Choy, Cheung Wai Lok, Lam Wai Kit, Almond Chu, Ho Siu Kee and Dan Leung, exhibits their photo series depicting Hong Kong. The combination of 13 different tiles of Mahjong can somewhat reflect the joint of the 13 unique photographers, who come from various background ranging form mainstays to freshmen of the art world. Their works show different subject matters and approaches, which may give public an overview of contemporary photography in Hong Kong.
