Art is – here, there, everywhere Even the most ordinary everyday objects can be transformed into extraordinary artworks. KOHLER has always been a metaphor of aesthetics, craftsmanship and practicality. Over the past 40 years of its collaboration with John Michael Kohler Arts Center in the United States, it has let more than 500 artists-in-residence unleash their talent via designing products with the factory’s raw materials, be they clay, enamel, iron or brass. From 26 April to 1 May, KOHLER and the Arts Exhibition will invite Asian artists from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and South Korea to look into the effect of urbanization on the city’s landscape, culture and people.
