LINE II, by Kai Chen Chen has always been interested in the study of movements and related possibilities that led him to make to a series of choreographic works that he describes as ‘classifiable movement’. LINE II is a dialogue between linear movements of human bodies and objects. Furthermore, learning from traditional Beijing Opera skills for the long staff, LINE II will lead the audience into the world of traditional art form. It is not only a dance piece that speaks with body language, but also a beautiful piece that salute to the historical traditions. MEET, by DoDo Lau Life is full of meetings and partings. This contemporary piece, based on life stories, seeks to resonate with experiences others have had. It sets into motion a reflection on how everything is connected and a realization of how people we’ve met shape who we are today. Who is in your mind now? Nothing... But Something, by Yang Hao Each of the characters on stage has their own personality and outlook, how will the choreographer present these tangible and intangible elements? Limits of the human body vs clear mind, resembling our fruitful yet complicated experiences as a theatre audience - looking, observing and discovering - this is a dance theatre piece which will require you to feel it with your heart.
