The number 1600 represents an estimation of population of pandas remaining world-wide. As part of the 1600 Pandas World Tour Hong Kong collaboration with World Wildlife Fund, Art Projects Gallery has invited artists from Hong Kong and around the world to participate in a commemorative exhibition to help raise the awareness for the conservation of endangered species and sustainable development. Each artist, in their own unique expression, produced an original artwork about pandas on 100% post consumer fiber paper that is PCF and Green Seal Certified. The works shall be sold at a price of HKD1,600 each with part of the proceeds being donated to the WWF.
