大坑舞火龍始於1880年，至今已有超過130年歷史。相傳在一次風災後，大坑村村內出現一條大蟒蛇，被村民擊斃，豈料翌日蛇屍不翼而飛，大坑村更隨即爆發瘟疫，奪去多人性命，村民惶恐終日。此時有村中父老獲菩薩報夢指點，只要用草扎成草龍，再插滿香枝，於中秋佳節晚上在村內舉而舞之，繞村遊行，同時燃放炮竹，便可驅除瘟疫。村民依此而辦，瘟疫果然消失。自此，村民便於每年中秋迎月﹑賞月和追月三天，即農曆八月十四﹑十五和十六晚上舞動火龍。在急速發展的都市環境中，舞火龍習俗維持至今，它不但展現出民間風俗文化，更體現出傳統習俗不朽的生命力。 CACHe邀請到大坑舞火龍總指揮陳德輝先生(第四批國家級非物質文化遺產項目代表性傳承人之一)為大家講解大坑舞火龍的歷史與分享多年籌辦經過。 名額: 80人 講者: 陳德輝先生 (大坑舞火龍總指揮) 費用: 全免 報名辦法 公眾人士網上報名 http://www.cache.org.hk/signguestbooka.php
