為紀念理察．史特勞斯誕生一百五十周年，香港歌劇院與斯洛文尼亞國家歌劇及盧比安納芭蕾舞劇院合作，由多位國際級歌唱家擔綱主演，並聯同一眾本地歌唱家及香港管弦樂團攜手演出作曲家的著名歌劇《莎樂美》。
