「Asian Beat」是亞洲國家/地區範圍內舉辦的最大型業餘樂隊比賽之一。Yamaha公司於1998年創立了名為「Band Alert」的樂隊賽事，並於2001年更名為「Asian Beat」。比賽從參賽國家/地區的內部選拔賽開始，各國各地區的冠軍得主晉級到總決賽，與其他亞洲勁旅作音樂交流、同台競技，最終選出每年的亞洲頂尖業餘樂隊冠軍。
