Feature DJs ROGUE MOTION (BREAKBEAT) Rogue Motion originally from Hong Kong, got his 1st real taste of electronic music during the early 2000’s when breaks were abundant in HK's scene. Heavily influenced by James Zabilia, Evil 9, Unkle, Adam Freeland, PMT, The Crystal Method, Rogue Motion mixes old and new tunes. He has bounced around various different styles of electronic music drawing from D’n’B to deep/tech house. After gaining huge influences from his time spent in the UK get ready to hear his Deep progressive snappy breaks. You can hear him at Baby Buddha and Strategic Sounds. SMALLBONE Sammy Smallbone a.k.a Bones a.k.a Freddie the Cunt has been in and around the drum and bass scene since about 1996. Sammy grew up on all the major artists and labels of that period, digging in record crates in North London and searching for the freshest cuts and upfront white labels. After a stint at Ray Keith’s imprint, Dread Recordings, and two years with the legendary Valve Sound System, Bones finished up his first sitting in drum n bass at the renowned SRD warehouse in Seven Sisters. By that time he had carved out a name for himself on the east London warehouse/squat party circuit, mixing hard hitting amen and sub bass tracks layered with sweet, airy female vocals. Bones has now played for some of the major players on the HK and Macau bass music scene including Sessions HK, Magnetic Soul, Bass Music China, Heavy HK, Ecstatic Bass and of course Strategic Sounds. He is known for his tight beat matching and eclectic and varied style. He loves all sub-genres of drum n bass and represents that in his sets. PHAETON Phaeton is an up and coming Dj living in Hong Kong. At an early age he was heavily influenced by a wide range of music allowing him to mix different types of music such as Reggae, Dubstep and DNB. With his rolling, minimalish, soulful and Intense Drum and Bass, he has shared the stage with Dj's such as JCC, DJ Dragon, Joe Nice, Zuju, Tarqeeb, Pedestrian and Command Strange etc. At the moment you can catch him playing with the top notch bass music promoters in Hong Kong such as Heavy HK, Magnetic Soul and Sessions HK. SERT (Strategic Sound / Soul Healing Sessions) Having founded the industrial building-based music venue - Strategic Sounds, and as a member of the experimental band Afterdoom (www.facebook.com/afterdoomhk), sert is certainly no stranger to the local underground scene. His influences range from band music, electronic dance music to experimental sounds. Liquid drum 'n' bass is his specialty, though he doesn't shy away from heavier sounds. He recently supported Enei, Lenzman, as well as Command Strange. You can catch him working alongside Hong Kong's bass heavyweights - Heavy HK, Frequency, Magnetic Soul, Sessions HK and Strategic Sounds.
