"Hong Kong No Air Con Night" has been launched for five consecutive years since 2010. The "No Air Con Night 2014" is on 25th Sept, from 7pm to the next day 26th 7am. Participants should turn off the air con at the suggested period. We thank all of the participants and groups in joining continuously and supporting the message of "No Air Con" and energy saving to the public in the past years. Participants should switch off the air conditioner at home during the event. 2) We will have a series of events around Hong Kong to promote No Air Con Night starting in late August, including TV commercials, newspaper and magazine advertisements, posters promotion in public area, housing estates, schools and higher education institutes, website, and other social media etc. 3) The Hong Kong No Air Con Night Kick Off Ceremony will be held on 25th September 4pm. The ceremony is located at Chan Sui Kau and Chan Lam Moon Chun Square “Logo Square”, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hung Hom, Kowloon. We are sincerely inviting representatives of the Government officials, sponsor companies, supporting & joining organizations, education institutes and university students to join the ceremony. 4) Publicity materials will be distributed to companies/organizations (Group Registration: http://goo.gl/DP3KC3 , properties and buildings are registered as “Group”). Posters can be posted in the offices, receptions counters or notice boards. Other publicity materials can be downloaded on our website http://greensense.org.hk/noaircon . 5) Procedure for the staff to join: companies/organizations can send an internal email (around the first/second week of September) including the link of Green Sense No Air Con Night: http://greensense.org.hk/noaircon. The staff can (1) fill in the online pledge form on our website ( http://goo.gl/uDxVJR ) Press “Staff or Member of Joined Companies/ Organizations” and select the name of Company/ Organization, or (2) Companies/ organizations can also gather the number of staff pledged internally and report to us no later than 22nd September (Monday). 6) We strongly encourage the company/organization to have at least 50% of the staff participating in the event. For your reference, the total number of participants from the corresponding company/organization (personal information will not be included) can be sent to contact person of the company/organization upon request. 7) We invite the directors and CEOs of the companies/organizations to join this event. It will help to unite the staffs to participate the event.
