With 11 different brews to tempt you, you’ll have your hands full all night – literally! Exciting On-site Games to Top-up Your Night In addition to cheering on your favourite runners and enjoying the superb onstage entertainment, fun-filled interactive games will be running trackside all night to make sure the excitement never wavers! 1) Perfect Draught Pouring - While you probably love drinking beer, you might not realise how hard your bartender works to pour the perfect pint. So why not see if you have what it takes to tame the tap? Generate just the right amount of foam on the top of your beer in our Perfect Pint Challenge, and beyond the reward of sipping on an ice-cold brewski, you could win a prize! 2) The Cheer Up Challenge - Nothing quantifies your liquid courage like feats of strength. At this year’s Oktoberfest, gather some friends and test your power and focus at the Cheer Up Game, where participants can take home some fantastic freebies. 3) Speed Drinking Contest - Thirsty for more thrills? Then take the chug challenge, as each night we will crown a “Speed Drinking Champ” in both the Singles and Doubles categories. Be one of our fastest guys, girls or pairs and we’ll invite you on stage before the final race to battle it out for great prizes on the big screen: Singles: HK$2,000 top prize and four final contestants HK$200 runners’ up Doubles: HK$3,000 top prize and four final group HK$300 runners’ up Celebrate the Happy Wednesday Oktoberfest Oktoberfest 2014 kicks off on Wednesday 22 October with the official pouring of the first beer, so come along and cheer yourself hoarse as Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany Nikolaus Graf Lambsdorff joins HKJC CEO Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges in raising a stein to everyone’s good health! Horse-head Men City Tours If you happen to run into four horse heads in Hong Kong this October, don’t fret – it’s a good thing. These two-legged stallions – or The Four Horse-head men, if you will – will be touring around the town with free beer coupons & souvenirs in hand, welcoming curious onlookers to join Happy Wednesday’s massive Oktoberfest bonanza on 22 October.
