香港弦樂團是本港首個兼具國際級音樂家作教授及師友計畫的專業弦樂團，以非牟利的形式運作的音樂團體。
培育年青音樂家，傳遞音樂的快樂
香港弦樂團的宗旨是通過培養本地年輕音樂精英，實現他們成為專業音樂家的夢想。同時透過給予他們舞臺演出機會，將音樂的歡樂傳遞到香港每一個角落及促進本港音樂文化發展。
