Dedicated to the exploration and performance of Shakespeare's works, Shakespeare’s Globe has held two hugely successful tours in Asia. This September, the renowned theatre company returns to Hong Kong for a third time with Globe to Globe Hamlet, a new production of the classic tale that has played to great acclaim around the world. Directed by Shakespeare’s Globe Artistic Director Dominic Dromgoole and Bill Buckhurst, the Globe’s ambitious global theatrical adventure lands in Hong Kong with five shows in the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts’ Lyric Theatre from September 4-6, 2015. Continuing the Globe’s commitment to expose the Bard’s work to as many people as possible, Dominic Dromgoole has created a fresh, travelling version of Hamlet with a stripped-down stage that can be set up at any venue around the world.
