Seven Strings and Chinese orchestras of the Music Office with over 500 young musicians will perform in two fantastic concerts with an array of Western and Chinese ever-lasting favorites. Concert III on 8 May will showcase four Chinese orchestras playing Full Moon and Blossoming Flowers arranged by Peng Xiuwen , Concert Overture by Yang Chunlin, Rain Dance by Kwan Nai-chung and Listening to the Wind Singing Under the Bright Moonlight by Chung Yiu-kwong and lots more; Concert IV will wrap up the concert series with captivating repertoire presented by three string orchestras. Programme highlights include selections from Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 “From The New World”, Britten’s Simple Symphony, 1st movement and Dance Bacchanale from Samson and Delilah by Saint-Saëns.
