agnès b.’s LIBRIARIE GALERIE is delighted to present the solo photography exhibition, DANCE, by the French artist, Eugenia Grandchamp des Raux. At the age of five, she had her first dance lessons at the Dalcroze school in Paris. Dance was her passion and her watchword, and it has become her life. She carried on dancing until she became a photographer. She photographs dancers of the Opéra de Paris such as Nicolas Le Riche, Benjamin Pech and Claire Marie Osta. Being influenced by the fascination with the pastels and monotypes of Degas, her works capture the world of dreams, their fluidity, and visualizing the intangible in the Monde-Flou to crystallize the world of subtlety that lies at the margins of the visible and the invisible.
