Daniel DAVIAU, born in France in 1962, is recognized by many experts for his original interest in the monumental representation of rare animal species as well as for his exceptional ability to reach the perfect balance of both fineness and strength in bronze sculptures. He is currently the vice president of the Salon National des Artistes Animaliers (S.N.A.A). In 2000 he was awarded the SANDOZ PRIZE, the most prestigious award in his field. His works received notable awards and are found in many collections in France, the United States, England, Russia and China.
