Tai Ping Shan is a diverse area featuring a mix of traditional shops, contemporary restaurants and art galleries. Curated by Wei Ming Pak and Sudhee Liao and organised as part of the Social Acupuncture project, ‘Humanity in Tai Ping Shan’, the first event of Mix & Match at Tai Ping Shan, pairs up a modern western restaurant "teakha" and a local tea house "Tai Hei Cha Don" in the Tai Ping Shan area, where the chefs will exchange their ideas and create fusion dishes (Hong Kong style french toast with hot melted cheese and fresh ginger Masala tea) inspired by each other, and even swap their kitchen for a while!
