Now this may or may not be cause for celebration, but here at squarestreet, we've got every reason to raise our glasses and give ourselves a little pat on the back. Tthe first shop on the Tai Ping Shan block, is still here! So in the spirit of nostalgia and plain old tradition, esteemed Italian brewers Peroni Nastro Azzurro will be serving the ice cold conversation starters all night long, accompanied by a selection of Swedish nibbles to balance out your diet. To further celebrate the birthplace of squarestreet, we teamed up with the phenomenal YAWN STUDIO to showcase their beautifully decorative and rather educational maps of Hong Kong's most iconic districts. Maps both framed and rolled will be available for purchase throughout the evening. There will also be a short trip down memory lane in the form of a retrospective exhibition, where we remind ourselves just how terrible the shop used to look, and some of the wonderful and hideous creations that have graced her shelves.
