For the first time ever, through timeless masterpieces of cinema music, Andrea Morricone – conductor and composer of the beloved “Love Theme” from Cinema Paradiso – joins exquisite clarinetist Seunghee Lee in this groundbreaking philanthropic concert. The program is specially arranged by maestro Morricone for clarinet, piano and orchestra. Coinciding with the 25th anniversary celebration of this timeless classic film, maestro Morricone offers his newest arrangement of the score for Cinema Paradiso, for which both he and his father Ennio Morricone received the coveted BAFTA award for the Best Original Film Score, as a gift to the city of Hong Kong. The net proceeds and all ticket sales from this concert will support the following Hong Kong charities: Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong, Children’s Medical Foundation, The Mekong Club, Missione Possibile, and New Sight Congo.
