Description
1999年9月成軍於英國倫敦的Dragonforce原名Dragonheart，由出生於香港的華裔吉他手Herman Li(李康敏)和生長於紐西蘭的英裔吉他手Sam Totman、來自南非的主唱ZP Theart、烏克蘭鍵盤好手Vadim Pruzhanov、英籍貝斯手Adrian Lambert與鼓手Dave Mackintosh共同組成。
由於原團名Dragonheart容易造成混淆因此於2001年正式易名為Dragonforce，首支單曲"Black Winter Night"在網路上被大量下載造成重金屬市場樂屬界的轟動，於是贏得德國金屬名廠Noise的青睞，網羅至旗下並於2003年初發行首張專輯「Valley Of The Damned」十首勁曲，專輯甫一推出便立即造成轟動，各國搖滾媒體競相報導。
