Objective and Theme The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO), Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) and the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT) jointly organise the "Cyber Security is Everywhere" Graphic Design Contest which aims to promote the awareness of information security and adoption of security best practices in the community, and appeal to the public to be vigilant and thereby avoid fall into the trap of criminals. The graphic should demonstrate the security threats faced by the computer users and how they could protect their IT devices and information assets in their daily lives. Examples of protective measures include do not use online banking services on public computers or through public Wi-Fi, enable browser's built-in phishing and malware protection to prevent unusual pop-up screen for requesting credit card information, adopt two-factor authentication as far as possible when accessing web services or cloud services, beware of phishing e-mail to avoid incurring losses of money and goodwill, do not disclose sensitive or credit card information on social networking sites, install security software on the mobile device, etc. Category Open group : Open to all Hong Kong residents Secondary School Group : Open to all secondary students in Hong Kong Primary School Group : Open to all primary students in Hong Kong Awards Open Group Champion : Digital product (~HK$5,000) 1st runner-up : RICOH THETA Spherical Camera (~HK$3,000) 2nd runner-up : HK$1,500 cash coupon Merit Prize : HK$500 cash coupon Secondary School Group / Primary School Group* Champion : Trophy + RICOH THETA Spherical Camera (~HK$3,000) 1st runner-up : Trophy + HK$1,000 book coupon 2nd runner-up : Trophy + HK$ 500 book coupon Merit Prize : Commendation + HK$ 300 book coupon * "Most Supportive School Award" will be awarded to the secondary school and primary school with the highest number of participants.
