Fast forward to HK 2015, and join a small tribe of urban nomads in honoring the rituals of our collective ancestors. Through a nocturnal sharing of music, we can make life worth living even if for only a fleeting moment at the Mid Summer Night Ritual. July 25th at Backstage offers an eclectic mix of live indie music. First off is Deer—a sultry electro duo from Mexico; prepare for weird scenes from inside the Lynchian goldmine. Then there is League of Gentlemen (LOG.HK) who will offer up indie pop n roll using the unholy trinity of drums, bass and guitar. Next is Nowhere Boys who serve up Cinematic soundscapes and narratives with a wide range of instrumentation. Taking us through the final rites of passage are Heroses who will deliver us from evil with their spiritual, romantic and experimental sound.
