Outdoor Sketching At the { MAMASMART } pop-up event in Sheung Wan, we have invited artist Iris to give a 2-hour workshop on outdoor sketching. Sketching is a great practice of mindfulness as one can learn to feel the transience of the environment and reflect their own feelings through the coordination of eyes and hands. Iris will be giving a brief introduction on the history of Sheung Wan, and will guide through the basics on how to sketch buildings. Participants do not need to have previous experience or know how to draw perspectives, as sketching is an act of spontaneity and you will eventually develop your own style. Please remember to state whether you would like to attend the workshop on Saturday 29th (full) or Sunday 30th (limited seats available). Content: Iris will mainly teach about the skills for quick sketching with pencil, but will also brief about how to use watercolour pencils according to the different levels of participants.
