​ The Genius in the Forest, a series of painting works completed from mid-July to October, 2014. When there is an occasion my paintings are looked into your eyes, perhaps, my heart shall be seen through. I found myself in luck, because I have not formally learnt painting in practice, but some experience from merely a few lessons. Metaphorically putting human and birds together, what they bear, could have been what we might lost, the persistence in love. Originally based in Hong Kong, Larry Lucius Fung graduated from Salesian English School. After attending a foundation diploma course in design at Designfirst Institute of Art and Design at the age of 18, Larry has begun his career as a hairstylist hence accomplished the Certificate of Vidal Sassoon Master Class in London, 2013. Since childhood, Larry discovered the interrelationships and interests in arts in any form. ​ When Larry looks back, there was a notable lecture themed with Master Beihong Xu in 2008 which has given the conception for Larry more than to develop the motivation to draw, but the spirit of making an effort for a better society.
