「M+放映：四十年」挑選了八件難得一見的藝術家流動影像、紀錄片及劇情片，從影像領域的角度出發，展現中國當代藝術在歷史上的一些重要轉捩點，探索其過去數十年間的發展軌跡。此為「M+放映」系列的第二個項目，並為2月23日起至4月5日，於太古坊ArtisTree舉行的「M+希克藏品：中國當代藝術四十年」展覽所特別策劃的延伸項目。
