攝影對於吳文芳而言，就是可以用最快和最感性的方式記錄他曾去過的地方、遇過的面孔。可以是一剎那的同情心，一份不可名狀的喜悅，或者是一次非筆墨所能形容的感動。廣告創作出身、從事策略傳訊行業逾三十載的吳文芳，今年六十三歲，對生活永遠充滿好奇，對新事物充滿熱情，至今已走遍地球上過百個地方，並用鏡頭記錄這份個人的情感和世界觀。他鍾情黑白照片的簡潔和控制力，更愛它們豐富的敘事和無限的想像力，他稱這些為故事。
