The HKTDC Food Expo is the perfect place to tempt the appetite of buyers for new products as well as an effective marketing platform for food and beverages suppliers. In 2015, nearly 1,200 exhibitors from 24 countries and regions participated at the Food Expo. The Trade Hall welcomed more than 20,000 trade buyers while more than 470,000 members of the public visited the HKTDC Food Expo and the concurrent HKTDC Home Delights Expo.
A feast for industry players
Dedicated to industry players, the Trade Hall is a professional environment for retailers, wholesalers, suppliers, agencies and brokers to present both new products and important staples. In 2015, many group pavilions, including Australia, Brunei, the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea, Poland, the Philippines, Thailand, Ukraine and the United States, gave the Trade Hall a unique character, presenting exciting and even exotic products from different regions. The Halal Food Zone and Food and Agricultural Technology Zone were also introduced for sector-specific products and technologies.
Enticing public visitors
The general public is invited to join the feast in the Public Hall. This provides food suppliers a superb opportunity to give consumers a taste of your new products and gauge the response. The atmosphere is fantastic with excitement generated by all sorts of activities. In 2015, major established brands including Chewy, Kee Wah Bakery, Maxim’s Caterers, Nissin, On Kee Dry Seafood, Tai Pan, Tung Chun, Vita Green Health Products and more showcased their food and beverage products at Premium Food Zone.
Presenting top-tier goodies
Gourmet Zone is one of the fair highlights, which creates the right ambience for delicacies positioned at the most exclusive end of the market. In 2015, more than 70 high-end food suppliers presented their gourmet items at the four lifestyle themes – Western Delicacy, Asian Cuisine, Chic & More andSweet Delights.
