With enhanced sliding experience and definitely more fun, the event is again set to provide city dwellers with the best answer to beat the summer heat. As of today, Slide The City has toured to more than 200 cities and has become one of the hottest events around the globe, aiming to bring joy and positive energy to Hongkongers and everyone around the world! 1st tier of fun The event has been moved to the Central Harbourfront Event Space this year, making it more accessible in terms of traffic. Better still, sliders will get to experience both the action and tranquility of this attractive city, as they slide away against the backdrop of the spectacular view of the Victoria Harbour, both day and night. Everyone - from the trendy youth to the working bunch - can come chill out as they slide away off work’s clock or during holidays. 2nd tier of fun The waterslide is propped up by the highest Slide the City tower within Asia (approximately 10-metre-tall),making it taller, steeper and more fun to slide on. Faster and more exciting are what it’s going to be. 3rd tier of fun New ticket types with dedicated sliding time slot for multiple sliding, with four slots per day. Limited ticket quota have been set for each time slot to effectively manage the flow of sliders with a unified queueing model. This enables sliders to get the most out of their exclusive time slot and enjoy multiple sliding times. Building an artificial mini-beach The organizers will also be building an artificial mini-beach on the solid ground of the Central Harbourfront Event Space for the first time, to make possible, in an unprecedented attempt, the indulgence of sunbathing at the heart of Hong Kong’s commercial and financial hub amid towering architectures in Central.
