透過是次比賽，讓世界各地詠春愛好者促進交流，加強實戰經驗，致力將詠春推廣成一種不分種族國藉的國際化武術運動。
參賽人數
套路: 最多接受參賽者人數約160人
傳統黐手: 最多接受參賽者人數約100人
對抗賽: 最多接受參賽者人數約60人
