Introduction
The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) will hold the “Cyber Security Seminar – Protect Your Precious Assets in Cyberspace” for the general public on 23 September 2016. People from different age groups nowadays can easily enjoy the exceptional convenience and fun brought about by Internet and mobile technologies, like mobile payment and social networking. However, these technologies pose unprecedented, ever-increasing challenges to cyber security and privacy. In this seminar, representatives from the Government, industry associations and solution providers will share some information security best practices on a range of topics, including children online privacy tips for parents, mobile payment security, and security measures for online banking and securities services, etc. Participants can expand their knowledge on cyber security through this seminar so that they can enjoy the benefits of cyberspace.
