25th-27th November
We will worship for 50 hours non-stop in a tent erected on the basketball courts just outside Walled City. Will you come and bring some non-Christian friends? You can join the public worship times from 6pm-9pm on Friday evening, 9am-9pm on Saturday and 9am-8pm on Sunday.
There will be no speeches or announcements but audio scripture, and one or two testimonies each hour from those touched by the Lord in or through the Walled City. We will sing in Cantonese and English led by our local worship leaders. They will be helped by some wonderful friends like Andy Park, David Ruis, David Felllingham and a large number of orchestral and other musicians from all over the world. The purpose is to honour Jesus only, on Jackie’s anniversary of landing in Hong Kong. There will be opportunities for healing and other ministries from time to time. You can just walk in and out – there are plenty of good eating places round about. The venue is just outside the Walled City Park, off Carpenter Road, in Kowloon City and will be signposted.
There will be two other special happenings – a short performance of Haydn’s “Toy Symphony” some time after 5pm on Saturday & Sunday and “Sound Portraits”. These will be by British orchestral musicians who will walk into the congregation and play over particular people as the Holy Spirit leads them. They have done this throughout Britain and it’s changed and touched many people. If you want your portrait painted you could come between 1.00 and 2.30 pm on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. We expect most people on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening but there will be bands playing throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday. Everybody is welcome to come and worship at any time and you will not need tickets. We just want your presence as we know Jesus will come.
