歐迪加•凱羅現時為巴伐利亞電台交響樂團雙簧管首席，同時亦以獨奏家身份穿梭世界各地演出，其從容不迫、細膩又醇厚的演奏，贏盡好評。這次他與香港小交響樂團所演奏的李察‧史特勞斯雙簧管協奏曲，被演奏家公認為高難度曲目，當中的樂段幾乎從無間斷，展現獨奏者表現驚人的呼吸控制能力，同時亦要表達當中豐富的情感及動人旋律，是繼莫扎特的雙簧管協奏曲之外，另一首必聽雙簧管作品。
香港小交響樂團首席客席指揮柏鵬，上一樂季帶領樂迷欣賞過布拉姆斯的作品，於2017/2018新樂季，他將指揮多首舒伯特的音樂，打響頭炮的是舒伯特史詩式之作 ─ 「偉大」交響曲；同時獻上由樂團首席格德霍特為柏鵬而創作的最新作品，掀起音樂會序幕。
