Lukas Graham, the pop-soul hybrid band, was formed in 2011. Since their debut, the band has earned global recognition. Later on, their single “7 Years” topped the UK Singles Chart and many other international music charts for consecutive weeks, meanwhile, peaked at No.2 in the US Billboard Hot 100. In December 2016, Lukas Graham was nominated in three Grammy categories for their single “7 Years”: Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. “7 Years” had made the fourth best-selling song in the US in 2016. Fronted by Lukas Forchhammer, one of the best vocalists in pop music, and with the backing of the drummer Mark Falgren and bassist Magnus Larsson, the instrumentation and overall sound of Lukas Graham is the most distinguishable, if not amusing. Lukas Graham shows are certified to be energetic and dynamic, yet they are also acclaimed to be emotional and touching. The band also travels with a brass session of trumpet, saxophone, and trombone, adding an element of classical soul to their staging. The band had recently been touring in the US and Europe, and is now heading to Asia. This is only the band’s second time setting foot in Asia and their first ever to play in Hong Kong. “LUKAS GRAHAM 2017 TOUR in HONG KONG” will be held on 26 July 2017 (Wed), 8:30pm at KITEC Star Hall.
