The moon often gives us a quiet and elegant feeling, but it is at the same time dreamy and mysterious. Simply gazing at the moon at night can inspire an indefinite room of imagination and emotions for an artist's creation. The phrase "once in a blue moon" is used colloquially to mean an uncommon event. It is as rare for an artist to be able to create a satisfactory work that can appeal to others’ hearts. Fourteen artists from Hong Kong Art School, all with the same goal of creating rare and touching artworks, will employ different art media to express their views on various topics - photography to explore different aspects of life, video devices to reflect on how one feels the reality, paintings to provoke re-thinking, and audio-visuals to construct an imaginary space. The artists are determined to take this rare opportunity to showcase their creative powers. Participating Artists: Alan LAU, Anita LAI, Carol LEE, Charlotte YIU, Charmaine LAU, Cordelia TAM, Frank LAM, Grace TAM, Henry LEE, KM WONG, LEE Wai Chi, Leo CHOW, May LOO, Ophelia LAM Opening Reception 2 August 2017 (Wed) 7 to 8pm
