Public Memorial for Chester Bennington in Hong Kong Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington was found dead by hanging in Los Angeles on Thursday 20th July. He was 41. Hong Kong fans are holding a non-profit memorial to pay tribute to the childhood hero, who will continue to live inside the hearts of many. Date: 29th July, 2017 (Sat) Time: 8:30 – 10:00P.M. Venue: Central Harbourfront Event Space, Tamar Park, Hong Kong Activity: Participants will hold a moment of silence for Chester Bennington, followed by condolence messages and sharing sessions from fans. The activity will end with musical performances in honour of Chester, which participants are welcomed to sing along. Broadcast: A music video from the memorial will be created in dedication to Chester and Linkin Park. Footage will be shared at YouTube to be viewed by fans worldwide. Dress code: Discrete and modest attire: black T-shirts or LP band shirts are recommended To note: This is not a party or a concert.
