Our former Suona Principal Guo Yazhi will join us again to perform with his prized mentee, the current Suona Principal, Ma Wai Him. Also, to highlight our ongoing effort to perpetuate the musical lineage of Hong Kong, we will be performing with the Hong Kong Children’s Choir and premiering compositions by young composers, including the ‘Best Orchestra Work’ in the Chinese Music Without Bounds X International Composition Competition, and a new commissioned piece by local composer, Ng Cheuk-yin.
