Julia Lange Julia Lange is a young talented crossover guitarist in Germany. She won the first prizes in various competitions after learning guitar for few years. And from 2011 to 2015, she learnt with Stephan Werner at the Dr.Hoch’s Conservatory in Frankfurt. Julia participated successfully in many national and International competitions. For example, the first prize in the“Roland-Zimmer-Wettbewerb” (Germany) and the D’Addario Award in the International Rago Competition; and three times the first prize in the German youth competition“Jugend musiziert”, etc. At the age of 15, she held her first solo concert. Later, she had a concert tour through Chile with the Youth-Guitar-Orchestra of Baden-Württemberg and was invited to Berlin to play for important German politicians like Volker Bouffier and Wolfgang Schäuble. Besides, she has been invited to perform in different music festivals, such as Musikmesse in Frankfurt and guitar festival in Cevennes/France. Julia’s playing is a colourful mixture of Classical and Fingerstyle guitar. She taught herself how to arrange songs and established a loyal following on social media platforms. The Fingerstyle guitar masters like Tommy Emmanuel and Jon Gomm appreciate her playing as well. “Your playing and arranging skills are second to none... you play so in tune, so in time and with powerful feeling.
