Description
奔向幸福的彼岸之時
早已溺斃於苦海之中
一個為了追逐自己的幸福而謀財害命的悲劇故事。
Martha與母親把自己的家經營成一間旅店，二人合謀殺害單獨來此住宿的外地旅客，好令自己有足夠的金錢搬到另一個國家的海邊居住。
Martha的哥哥Jan，在離家20年後，打算帶著財富回來，以給Martha和母親幸福的生活。Jan沒有理會太太Maria勸告直接表明自己的身份，卻又一心期望受到浪子回頭般的歡迎，誰知母親認不得他，Martha卻只想著要殺害他……
