This year, we are partnering with Simone Legno, Co-founder and Creative Director of tokidoki, an internationally recognized and iconic lifestyle brand. Paintings by Simone Legno make their Greater China debut at KC100 Art Space. In contrast to tokidoki creations’ Japanese urban chic, a consistent motif in Simone’s paintings is an angelic, sexy and cheeky Asian young girl, who roams around the lively metropolis day and night. Vibrant colors and rich imagery are used to depict different scenarios which also include many distinctive features of Chinese cities, such as beautiful Shanghai by night, vastness of the Great Wall and shimmering lights of Victoria Harbour, to accentuate the peculiar aura of each place.
