DR.EGGS is a band best described as a melting pot of hip hop, punk rock, electronic music and everything else you could imagine. Formed in 1996 by lead vocalist Joul, the doctor and mastermind behind this concept, at the age of 16 in Montpellier, France. As a rapper, singer, multi instrumentalist, producer, director, Joul, the creative force of DR.EGGS has delivered over 400 high energy gigs in the last 22 years across Europe, Asia, USA and South Africa. From the world famous Whisky a Go Go, to local festivals in Taiwan or Reunion Island, and recently India. The band even went on a three-year tour to 50 prisons in France, to bring music and entertainment to prisoners. Traveling around the world and exchanging cultures have always been the core DNA of the band, along with angular synths, driving bass, aggro guitar and complex rhythms all topped by infectious melodies, slick raps and highly personal lyrics. 2018 is the last year of DR.EGGS with a couple of shows around the globe, a new LP in October and a new but last album to be released soon.
