This 22 November, the RAGE by AWEN Tribute Series will honour Aretha Franklin - singer, songwriter, civil rights activist, actress, and pianist and one of the most respected and adored artists in musical history. What to expect - Three soulful singers and a four-piece band revisit your favourite Aretha classics, from Respect to Son Of A Preacher Man to I Say A Little Prayer, be ready to dance! Artists: Awen – Awen is a French-Senegalese singer, song-writer, founder and CEO of the event company RAGE by AWEN. Awen initiated this tribute series as she wanted to revisit the repertoire of the world's greatest musicians with the best artists Hong Kong has to offer. Janaia – All the way from Toronto, Canada, Janaia Farrell is a five octave range vocalist who performs professionally in several genres of music. From opera to soul to rock, and everything else in between, she offers a little something for everyone. Phil D – Phil D entered the South African Idols competition in 2012 where he made top 34. He returned the following year and landed a spot in the top 16. In 2015 , while based in Hong Kong, he released his debut single COLORS. Phil D has since then released two other singles available on any music platforms. From soul to house music, Phil D's versatile talent knows no boundaries.
