Global megastar Ed Sheeran has announced the remaining dates of his new stadium headline shows for his return to Asia in 2019, which will be in addition to the already announced Tokyo, Seoul, Osaka, Singapore, Bangkok and Jakarta shows and follow-on from Ed’s first-ever sold out South Africa stadium tour in March! Running through April and May 2019, the newly added dates will take place at Fantasy Road Outdoor Venue, Hong Kong Disneyland on 17th & 18th April 2019.
Ed is not only one of the most successful recording acts, ever, but one of the world’s most in-demand live acts. On last summer’s UK run, Ed played to over 1.1 million people, including four nights at London’s Wembley Stadium, marking the biggest-ever solo tour [without a band] that the UK has ever seen!
Ed Sheeran - 2017’s biggest-selling global artist (IFPI) - released his Grammy-winning third studio album ‘÷’ (Divide) in March 2017. A songwriter of a generation, Ed has continued to dominate charts across the globe since its release. With over 16.5 million copies sold worldwide to date, ‘÷’ has spawned Ed’s hit singles “Shape of You” (the third biggest-selling single of all time in the UK and most-streamed track on Spotify, ever), “Castle on the Hill”, “Galway Girl”, the 2017 UK Christmas Number 1 “Perfect” and “Happier”. Sheeran released his 11 million-selling debut album ‘+’ (Plus) in 2011, which featured the UK’s biggest-selling debut track of that year “The A Team”. In 2014, he returned with his critically-acclaimed 2nd LP ‘x’ (Multiply) featuring his global smash “Thinking Out Loud”. ‘x’ charted at #1 on both sides of the Atlantic and has since been named one of the biggest-selling albums of all time by The Official Charts Company - the album is now 90 x platinum and has sold 16 million copies, worldwide.
Ed was awarded a MBE for his services to music and charity at the end of 2017. He has won an array of awards over his career to date including 4 x Grammys, 4 x Ivor Novello’s, 5 x BRIT Awards, 6 x Billboard Awards and many more.
Once again, Ed and his team have a strict stance against anyone using unethical secondary ticketing sites. In order to put a stop to the secondary ticketing market, absurd prices and fan rip-offs, the tickets are sold personalized*, which means that the name of the ticket purchaser is printed on the tickets. Upon arrival, purchaser may be required to provide a valid photo ID that matches the name on the ticket(s) to gain admission. This stops secondary sites and ticket touts being able to resell tickets at inflated prices and ripping off fans.
