某天，幾個青年男女一起遠足旅行。 他們遊山玩水，十分開心。 然後，他們坐下一同講故事──中國長篇旅遊故事【西遊記】，並興高采烈地扮演當中角色。 期間他們深入險境，面對蜘蛛精、闖過火燄山，危機四伏，烏龍百出。他們到底能否團結互助，完成『取西經』這個艱難任務？
