Description
第五交響曲並不專屬貝多芬一人，本音樂會一連呈獻兩首第五交響曲。美國作曲家勞斯記憶中最早聽過的古典音樂，是浦羅哥菲夫的《彼得與狼》和貝多芬的第五交響曲。勞斯的第五交響曲亦直接及間接地取材自貝多芬的第五交響曲，2017 年由梵志登指揮世界首演，被譽為凱旋之曲。浦羅哥菲夫的第五交響曲1945 年於莫斯科首演同樣贏得一致好評，一位樂評家形容此曲蘊含「人類精神力量與善美光芒」。
