The Twilight Sad rose from Glasgow in late 2003, with their career ascent forged the old way with grit, graft and five exceptional studio albums. Melding post rock, industrial and post punk influences, the band describe their sound as “Folk with layers of noise” and have proven adept at revealing different shades of heartbreak and hope with each release. Beloved by a dedicated fanbase around the world the group have been championed by The Cure’s Robert Smith (with whom they’ve toured extensively) and Mogwai (signed to their label Rock Action).
