Walk For Nature Don’t miss this year’s “Walk for Nature” to be held on 2 and 3 Nov at Mai Po Nature Reserve! Underthe theme “Birds & Beyond”, participants can learn about the importance of conservation and glimpse some of Mai Po ’s popular inhabitants. Walk for Nature is a great way to spend time with family and friends, as well as groups and anyone who wants to experience a relaxing and meaningful weekend! Over 2000 species living in Mai Po Nature Reserve Mai Po is a kaleidoscope of living creatures, where more than 2,000 species reside. Along the five-kilometre route, you will experience Mai Po’s distinctive habitats, including the gei wai (traditionalshrimp ponds), boardwalk, natural wildlife habitats, as well bird hides. You may even get the chanceto meet our hardworking resident, the water buffalo. Our event will also feature game booths and environmental workshops that highlight the importance of safeguarding our environment and wildlife. Boardwalk Guided Tour Want to experience an extended adventure? You can by joining our "Boardwalk Guided Tour". Hikealong a floating boardwalk through the middle of a magnificent mangrove forest before being greeted by the beautiful scenery of Inner Deep Bay. Be sure to sign up for this unique opportunity to glimpse the amazing mudflats of Inner Deep Bay. Extra Fee: HK$150 *For safety reasons, participants must be aged at least 12 or above.
