Chinese-American comedian Joe Wong, famed for his appearance on Letterman, Ellen, and Stephen Colbert, and bringing his first English stand-up show in Hong Kong. ABOUT JOE WONG Grew up in a rural part of northeast China and went to the U.S. for a PhD, Chinese-American comedian Joe Wong landed a successful standup career in America. Wong has found fame poking fun at Asian stereotypes and cultural differences in various shows like ‘Late Night with David Letterman, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Late Night with Stephen Colbert and has roasted U.S. Vice President Joe Biden at the 2010 Radio and Television Correspondents dinner. Joe Wong’s success brought him back to China in 2013 where he hosted a weekly Chinese TV talk show “Is it True?”, reaching 25 million viewers per episode. He is now developing new TV shows and movie projects in the U.S. and China.
