He has collaborated with the Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT1), Israel’s Batsheva Dance Company, and Lyon Opéra Ballet, among others, producing more than 40 works to date. Kimmo Pohjonen (Concept / Music) Fearless and impressively energetic (even swimming in glaciers in winter), Pohjonen is a revolutionary master accordionist. Variously referred to as the Jimi Hendrix and Björk of the accordion, he muscularly metamorphoses its lilting image with his electrified, custom-made instrument into a raging, engaging new presence.
