『不要盲目相信世間一切。』
昭和年代，以為櫻花盛開，百花齊放，水俁市卻出現不尋常現象：貓狗跳海自殺、人類相繼發瘋而死。
到底連串異象如村民所言，是妖怪人魚作祟，還是有着不為人知的秘密？
