Its Chinese name in Hakka language means the approach of the darkness of the night. Having received 3 Golden Melody Awards in 2005, the album is a narration of the livelihood of and the search for way out for the grass roots. This upcoming Hong Kong live show will be kind of a preview of the “Getting Dark – 15th Anniversary Concert” by Sheng-Xiang & Band, which will be held at TICC, Taipei next July. During times of darkness, arts and culture could encourage people to overcome adversity and rise to challenges. Sheng-Xiang & Band would like to stand with Hong Kong by bringing its music to the city at this historical juncture.
